Sharing in Dutch and in English

On --12-01 I shared a post on Facebook in Dutch about Cori's and my situation. I felt like I had a difficult balance to strike.

If you're wondering about the "too much" part... The last time I posted in Dutch about Cori's and my situation, the one person closest to me gave me nothing but resistance.

Here's an English version of what I posted on Facebook.

Translated Post

Some time ago, I promised that I would make Dutch translations of the blog posts I publish here. I still have that website (obviously) and I'm still crafting posts for my blog, but I did suddenly stop making Dutch translations on Facebook. In this post, I would like to talk about a post I found on Facebook by a friend of mine in Virtual Ability. It featured the image shown below.

Female passenger on a plane.

It made me think back to the first time I drove off in my car, alone on the open road. It still makes me very happy when I think back to the confidence my parents must have had in me. They did ask me to call them when I arrived, but still. I did that using a car phone. Does the youth of today still know what that is?

As always, I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post. If you have any questions or comments, then please let me know in the form down below.
