Roads to Peace

This post could be seen as a follow-up to this one about solving problems. So, if you haven't read it already, you might want to do that.

Former US President Donald Trump and Dutch politician Geert Wilders have something in common. Both of them appear to favor peace through enforcement over peace through mutual understanding. Personally, I favor peace through mutual understanding. I feel that it grants me an understanding that appears to elude a great many people. What understanding am I talking about? Read on and find out.

Despite the huge difference between them, Black Lives Matter and Islam do have something in common. Both of them are seeing their images stained by people who are not actually part of the group being blamed. Black Lives Matter protesters are seeing people join the group only to resort to looting and rioting, not to protest for black lives, but because they want to see Black Lives Matter protesters blamed for it. Some people commit the worst of acts in the name of Islam not because they are Muslim, but because they want to see Muslims blamed for it. I do hope you're starting to see a theme here.

Btw, for those of you who doubt what I said about Islam, please read this post.

Are we really so bent on fighting what we see as bad, that we can't see what's really going on here?

Far be it from me to say that we should let evil forces run us over, but we need to enforce peace only where necessary and to the degree necessary. We should seek to understand each other's opinions. If nothing else, I hope you'll take away the following from this blog post.

As always, I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post. If you have any questions or comments, then please let me know in the form down below.
